Attention all artists! Paint Cohoes is seeking submissions for our upcoming art exhibit. We are looking for diverse and unique artwork to showcase in our gallery. Whether you're a painter, sculptor, photographer, or mixed media artist, we want to see your work. This is a great opportunity for experienced creatives and novices to have your art displayed and appreciated by the community. CALL FOR ART:

“Artifact”

Femme artists are invited to submit works that explore the multifaceted nature of female anatomy, reproductive health, and yonic symbolism. We encourage submissions that resonate with the concepts of rebirth and renewal, inviting artists to move beyond simplistic definitions of fertility. Instead, we seek pieces that encapsulate the profound experiences of womanhood and its evolution.

All mediums are welcome for this juried and curated exhibition, overseen by Katharine Moser, owner of Swift Motion Art, LLC. This is an opportunity to showcase how we define our identities while honoring the deep connections we share with our bodies.

Important Dates:

  • Submission Deadline: April 16th by Midnight

  • Acceptance Notification: April 19th

  • Art Reception: May 1st, 2026, from 6 to 8 PM


    *No more than one piece per artist (if display contains multiple parts that is fine) no larger than 5x5ft
    *Please upload a clear straight on high resolution image of the art piece you are submitting
    *Please state special requirements if any
